After years of preparing, dabbling, dipping in my toes, retreating, and distracting myself with a lot of other stuff, I'm finally, seriously, working on launching this publication.
And making it my main focus.
Well, after Nina (my dog), my cats, and myself.
Sorry about that, but I’ve learned the hard way — and, I’m sorry to admit, repeatedly — how necessary it is to put your own oxygen mask on first.
What to expect?
Anything and everything.
As the description says: multifaceted observations, answers, and questions on life, the universe, and everything.
Doesn’t tell you much, now does it?
I leave it this broad, because I hate restrictions and don’t want to limit myself by focusing on any particular topic.
So, expect the unexpected as my neurodiverse brain latches on to a new topic or gets triggered to spout sidenotes on events in my life.
I promise it won’t be boring!
That said, a little focus never hurt anyone and I’ll start with these themes:
Managing life, oh, and yes, work, with a neurodiverse brain that flatly refuses to do much of anything it isn’t interested in or dreads, and that sometimes (often more likely) gets bored before it even gets started.
Accepting people for who they are. Including yourself. What it takes. What it brings.
Knowing myself, I’ll probably digress and veer off on tangents.
So, to keep everything manageable for myself and you, I intend to set up something to make it easier to find related Sidenotes without having to browse the lot. May take some time though, as I’m new to Substack and am still finding my way around.
While I’m finding my feet, you can read this publication for free. But that won’t remain so forever. I have several mouths to feed. 🕵️♀️🐕🐈🐈🐈
